Context
Mobile Mining is one of AmazeWallet’s key features. The mining feature allows users to mine crypto (Earning profit ) while using their phone.
However, the mining feature is not popular enough according to our background data. And we receive user feedback that the mining feature is boring and users don’t have enough passion to purchase our mining plan.

Challenge
We want users to spend more time on our app and we want the mining process to become more attractive and funny. We decided to gamify the mining feature.

Insert Space Theme for the original mining feature.
To make it easier for users to accept and empathize with.
Issued Monster Coins as currency inside the game. Avoid using AMT directly.

Market research + Competitor analysis
Since it’s a fresh start for us to try to gamify the mining feature, Instead of making a traditional competitor analysis graph. I decide to conduct more detailed and qualitative research on each app or website we are investigating and list out their advantages that we may learn from.

"A good and popular theme allows app to attract a large number of users and have huge space to elaborate for sub-features. It’s also decided if the app can tell a good story that is easy for our user to accept and empathize with".

"The strong emotional connection between users and the little monster would help users to keep gaining a sense of accomplishment and drive them to keep using the app".
